LinkedIn has published its annual Top Startups ranking for Israel, naming 15 young companies that are attracting attention from professionals and jobseekers on the platform.
The ranking draws on LinkedIn data to assess companies’ growth and appeal in the job market, including workforce expansion, engagement, interest in open positions and their ability to attract employees from companies on LinkedIn’s global Top Companies lists.
The 2026 ranking:
- Oak leads the list. The identity security company launched publicly in July with $60 million in seed funding, co-led by Greylock Partners, Accel and CRV, and already works with enterprise customers. Its platform manages identity and access for employees, machines and AI agents. Oak was founded by Shai Morag and Tal Marom. Morag previously founded cybersecurity companies Secdo, acquired by Palo Alto Networks, and Ermetic, acquired by Tenable.
- doubleAI, co-founded in 2023 by Amnon Shashua, develops advanced AI systems designed to replicate rare expertise and tackle complex scientific and technical problems.
- Wonderful provides an AI operating system that helps large enterprises deploy AI agents and automate work across customer service, IT and other core operations.
- Kela Technologies provides an open software platform that enables militaries to integrate commercial technologies, including AI models and sensors, into existing defense systems.
- Echo helps companies secure their software by continuously identifying and fixing vulnerabilities at the source before they reach production. It supplies and maintains secure versions of open-source software, using AI agents to research vulnerabilities, apply fixes and test compatibility, with human review. The company raised $50 million in its first ten months and was founded by Eilon Elhadad and Eylam Milner, whose previous startup, Argon, was acquired by Aqua Security.
- Cyera helps companies find and classify sensitive data across cloud systems, SaaS applications and databases, then track and control how that data is used.
- Notch helps companies in regulated industries use AI agents to automate complex, high-volume operations, including customer service, document processing and claims handling.
- Mate Security helps security teams investigate and respond to cyber threats. It automatically analyzes security alerts and handles routine investigations so analysts can focus on more complex attacks. The company emerged from stealth in November 2025 and has raised more than $50 million. Its team includes former employees of Wiz, Axonius, Meta and Microsoft, as well as veterans of Israel’s Unit 8200 and alumni of the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Technion and Cornell University.
- Eon helps companies automatically back up and protect their cloud data, recover it quickly after an incident and make it available for AI and analytics.
- Port has raised $158 million since its founding and was valued at $800 million in its latest funding round. It provides a unified platform for engineering teams to manage software and infrastructure, automate routine tasks and give developers greater control over building and deploying software.
In August, Port ran an ice cream truck campaign in support of its efforts to recruit 150 new employees. The truck traveled between Tel Aviv’s technology office towers, stopping to hand out free ice cream and introduce potential candidates to open roles. The flavors were developed with MasterChef Israel winner Itiela Hayat. Port employees served the ice cream themselves, speaking directly to passersby about the company and opportunities to join its team.
- Encore AI analyzes customer interactions across calls, messages and CRM data to identify behaviors associated with the best outcomes. It uses those insights to train AI agents for sales and customer service.
- Limitless Labs develops AI for programming CNC machines used in precision manufacturing. Its agents work inside existing manufacturing software to turn 3D designs into machining toolpaths and sequences that programmers can review and adjust.
- Adaptive6 helps companies control cloud and AI spending by tracing unnecessary costs back to the code that created them and recommending fixes before costly resources are deployed. The company was founded by Aviv Revach, Omer Müller and Eyal Brosh and has raised $44 million. Revach and Brosh previously co-founded Commerce Sciences, which was acquired by Taboola.
- Dream uses AI to help governments and critical infrastructure operators anticipate and defend against cyberattacks.
- FINQ uses AI to analyze financial data and manage investment portfolios. Its offerings include AI-managed funds and pension-management services.
LinkedIn assessed four areas: employee growth, engagement, job interest and attraction of top talent. The assessment covered July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, with a minimum headcount increase of 5%.
Engagement measures views and follows of company pages by non-employees, as well as non-employees’ views of startup employees’ profiles. Job interest reflects views of and applications to advertised roles. The talent measure looks at employees recruited from companies on LinkedIn’s global Top Companies lists as a share of each startup’s workforce.
To qualify, companies had to be fully independent, privately held, no more than seven years old, and founded or headquartered in Israel, with at least 30 full-time employees. Startups that laid off 10% or more of their workforce between July 1, 2025 and the list’s publication were ineligible.
