Harwin’s Latest 5 Star Awards Recipients Announced

Showing gratitude to the individuals involved in the supply channels supporting its extensive portfolio of products, Harwin has named the latest winners of its 5 Star Awards.

These annual awards highlight the commendable work that distribution professionals do on the company’s behalf, in terms of demand creation, customer coordination, product promotion, order fulfilment, etc. Through their efforts, Harwin’s high-reliability (Hi-Rel) connectors, industrial-grade interconnects, EMI shielding cans, and board-level hardware solutions are getting greater market uptake.

This time, the individuals that have been recognised for an award are:

Sheila Daniels, TTI Inc.

Over an extensive period, Sheila has exhibited incredible dedication to grow the business throughout TTI’s US distribution operations. She has taken responsibility for interacting with all 30 remote branches and building strong customer bonds. Sheila has also consulted with the Harwin team, organising deliveries, and taking the initiative on new product introductions (NPIs).

Andy Waller, Farnell

Having worked on the Harwin account for many years, Andy has now taken on a global role within the Farnell group. It has seen him driving NPI activity and making considerable logistical improvements. During the last 12 months, Andy has overseen substantial increases in the breadth of Harwin product lines covered by the Farnell e-catalogue and the number of stock-keeping units (SKUs) kept.

Hemanth Kumar, iConnexion

Hemanth has been pivotal for Harwin to make further inroads into the increasingly important Indian market. She has continued supporting customers exceptionally throughout their design and development work. Of particular note have been the large projects she has taken care of with UAV OEMs.

Claudia Daimer, Mouser

This is the second time that Claudia has been bestowed with a Harwin 5 Star award. Located at Mouser’s Munich site, her work ethic is second-to-none, and everyone who deals with her appreciates it very much, from customers to her Harwin contacts.

Greg Ettlin, TTI Inc.

Serving the Maryland territory, Greg has successfully grown Harwin’s business here. His innate ability to identify crucial targets and nurture commercial relationships has led to an impressive 13% increase in sales revenues coming from Harwin products within the state.

“Harwin has built a trusted worldwide network of top-quality distribution partners. Through these awards, we can give credit to the members of their staff that have achieved real distinction in their assigned roles,” states Harwin’s Chief Revenue Officer, Andrew McQuilken. “Harwin is continuing to see robust growth over a broad cross-section of industry sectors and geographic regions, and the demanding work of these individuals has been a major contributing factor in making this happen. All of us at Harwin are indebted to them, and we look forward to seeing how they will take things even further.”
