TEL-AVIV, July 23, 2025 – Orca AI, the leader in AI-powered autonomous shipping solutions, announced the appointment of Amit Zilberberg as VP of Research and Development.
Amit will play a key role in shaping the company’s technology strategy, growing its R&D organization, and accelerating the development of advanced capabilities that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability at sea.
Amit brings over a decade of experience building and leading high-performing R&D teams, with a strong focus on AI-driven product innovation. His proven track record of scaling technology from early-stage concepts to high-impact solutions makes him a key addition to Orca AI’s leadership team.
Before joining Orca AI, Amit held senior R&D roles at Simplex AI and Aquant, where he developed advanced products merging AI technologies with real-world applications, and contributed to major technology initiatives at ClickSoftware. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and brings deep expertise in machine learning, software engineering, and technology strategy.
