Harwin Bestows Award on Asian Supply Chain Partner iConnexion

Harwin has decided to name iConnexion as its Distributor of 2023 in the Asian region. The award acknowledges that iConnexion has successfully raised the performance bar across numerous commercial parameters. This is the latest in a series of awards that the company and individual members of its workforce have received from Harwin in recent years.

iConnexion, which is headquartered in Singapore, specialises in supplying advanced electro-mechanical/interconnect components and cable assemblies. The company is widely respected for its effective logistics operation and the professionalism of its staff. It is able to quickly respond to customers’ demands by providing access to locally stocked inventory for many of the most popular Harwin product lines.

Over the past 12 months, iConnexion has attained record sales figures for Harwin’s HRi and BBi product categories. This includes markedly greater unit shipments and a significant expansion in the customer base. Thanks to the ceaseless efforts of its highly-trained sales and engineering support teams, it has secured major project wins in several key industry sectors, including electric vehicles (EVs), aviation/defence and space.

“Asia is proving to be a major growth market for our high-reliability connectors and industrial-optimised board-to-board interconnect solutions,” states William de Laszlo, Director at Harwin. “We are seeing many new opportunities in UAVs, satellites, metering and vehicle electrification. By having ground support from the motivated and responsive staff at iConnexion, we are very well placed for capitalising on such opportunities,”   adds Mike Tiong, General Manager at Harwin Asia Pacific.

“The working relationship that iConnexion and Harwin have developed is bringing impressive results, and we can see ways of taking things even further,” adds Keith Goh, iConnexion’s  VP of Sales. “In the next year, we will keep promoting the Harwin brand to OEMs throughout the Asian continent, bringing more project successes and increasing revenues.”
