Siemens introduces AI-powered on-premises analytics for industrial drivetrain systems

Siemens has unveiled Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite, a new on-premises analytics solution for industrial drive systems, at Hannover Messe 2026. The solution integrates Industrial AI capabilities to process and analyze drive data directly within the user’s infrastructure.

Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite enables companies to evaluate drivetrain data locally, addressing strict data sovereignty, cybersecurity, and low-latency requirements. The solution complements the existing Drivetrain Analyzer Cloud offering launched last year, expanding Siemens’ drivetrain analytics portfolio.

The first module, DTA Onsite – Monitoring, provides continuous condition monitoring of mechanical and electrical drivetrain components using locally executed AI for pattern recognition and anomaly detection. The system captures high-resolution data, including vibration signals, analog values, and fingerprint information, which are preprocessed and analyzed locally on an industrial PC.

The solution integrates with connection modules such as CM VIB, CM FPP, and CM IOT, and provides a web-based interface with plant-level overviews, KPI trend analysis, and detailed diagnostic dashboards. All data remains within the user’s infrastructure, with analytics executed entirely on-premises.

DTA Onsite is built on a containerized software architecture and supports open interfaces including MQTT, gRPC, and OPC UA, enabling seamless integration with SCADA systems, edge platforms, industrial IPC environments, and maintenance software.

The system is designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including production machinery such as extruders, packaging, and textile machines, as well as infrastructure systems like pumps, compressors, and conveyor systems. It is also suited for motion control applications requiring precise monitoring of dynamic operating conditions.

The solution is part of the Siemens Xcelerator platform.
