S3 Semiconductors joins Arm Approved design partner program

S3 Semiconductors, a global supplier of Mixed-Signal and RF Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) solutions, is pleased to announce that they have joined the Arm® Approved design partner program. This program provides customers who wish to adopt Arm embedded solutions a trusted and accelerated path to full custom ASIC design.

“S3 Semiconductors is delighted to be joining the Arm Approved design partner program,” said Darren Hobbs, Director of Marketing and Strategy, S3 Semiconductors. “We have been working with and integrating Arm IP into our custom chip designs for more than 20 years now, and see this step as an acknowledgment of this on-going strong partnership. A truly complementary partnership: Arm IP together with its robust ecosystem of embedded system developers is a valuable ingredient in the embedded mixed-signal ASICs that we develop and supply to our customers.”

“The Arm Approved design partner program’s extensive network of design houses enables the acceleration of custom ASIC delivery,” said Ciaran Dunne, vice president and general manager, Partner Enablement Group, Arm. “S3 Semiconductor’s mixed-signal and RF integration expertise and established supply chain play a valuable role in rapidly delivering new Arm-based embedded ASICs.”

S3 Semiconductors and Arm will both be exhibiting and delivering talks at Embedded World from February 27th to March 1st.
