Electrocomponents appoints Debbie Lentz as President Global Supply Chain

Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has appointed Debbie Lentz as President Global Supply Chain. She joins the company as a member of the Executive Management Team, reporting directly to CEO Lindsley Ruth.

Debbie is responsible for leading the further development of the Group’s supply chain capability. With her leadership team, she will define and implement a strategy to create a flexible and responsive supply chain, providing an innovative and sustainable market-leading service for customers and suppliers.

Debbie is a senior executive with a reputation for strong leadership, adept at running large, complex areas, and delivering transformation in global supply chain environments. Her previous roles, based in both the United States and Europe, span all facets of distribution and supply chain in companies ranging from Nabisco and Kraft Foods to Toys R Us.

Lindsley Ruth, CEO of Electrocomponents, stated: “Debbie’s multi-national experience and track record in global supply chain will be invaluable in helping us accelerate growth and efficiency across our business, as we progress on our journey to become first choice for our customers, suppliers and employees.”
