Murata receives two Bosch “Partners In Success” Global Supplier Awards for 2017

Murata has been awarded two Global Supplier Awards for 2017 from Bosch in the material fields electronic components and electromechanics (LTCC supply) categories. This marks the fifteenth time the supplier of technology and services has honoured outstanding performance in the manufacture and supply of products or services – notably in the areas of quality, costs, innovation, and logistics. In all, Bosch has given awards to 44 suppliers from eleven countries.

The theme of this year’s award ceremony was “Partners in Success” and Bosch presented the coveted awards before an audience of some 100 representatives of the supply industry earlier this week. Murata has long been more than a mere supplier of parts and components for Bosch and the strong partnership in development and innovation which exists between the two companies helps Bosch stay competitive. The strength of the partnership is evident from the seven previous awards presented to Murata by Bosch over the past fourteen years.

Dr. Volkmar Denner, chairman of the Bosch board of management emphasized how crucial partnerships are as he commented, “In the connected world, partnerships are becoming more and more important. Hierarchical value chains are turning into value-added networks.”

Accepting the award for Murata, Mr Gert Hohenberger said, “We are very proud to receive this award seven times in row and for the first time in two product categories. This proves the esteem Murata´s customers and partners hold us in.”
