During a live event in New York City, Microsoft today announced the latest expansion to the Surface product line, Surface Laptop, a laptop made personal. The much-anticipated device is powered by 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processors, which deliver incredible performance, amazing responsiveness and long battery life, setting the bar for rich and immersive experiences.
At just 2.75 pounds, the Surface Laptop has a 13.5-inch PixelSense™ screen and an immersive Dolby Premium Audio system under the Alcantara fabric keyboard — a first of its kind. It will also be the first device in the Surface lineup to come in colors, including Platinum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue and Graphite Gold.
Intel and Microsoft partnered closely to ensure the new Surface Laptop delivers amazing performance and incredible power. With over 14 hours of battery life, Surface Laptop is the perfect device for students and professionals. The Surface Laptop will be available June 15, 2017. Starting today, the product will be available for preorder and showcased in Microsoft retail stores.
