ADL Embedded Solutions Inc. Announces ADLVIS-1660 CoaXPress Solution

December 22, 2016 – ADL Embedded Solutions Inc., a leading provider of high-performance embedded solutions, has announced today its ADLVIS-1660 CoaXPress PCIe/104 solution.  The ADLVIS-1660 is a 2-channel CXP-6 (6.25 Gbps) board solution designed for rugged, small form factor (SFF) CoaXPress military and industrial applications.  Its stunning 1,250 MB/s effective camera bandwidth is ideal for high-performance imaging applications.  It is specifically designed to address the needs of high-speed machine vision, security and surveillance, hyperspectral imaging for agricultural, scientific and industrial uses, military EOIR, very high-resolution line-scan image acquisition, and high frame-rate motion analysis and recording.

The ADLVIS-1660 is comprised of a PCIe/104 multi-board stack including CXP-6 module, Quad Intel i7-4700EQ processor, and embedded ATX 150W power supply. The ADLVIS-1660 includes small outline coaxial cabling for DIN1.0/2.3 connectors optimized for SFF embedded use. It supports PoCXP, is GENICAM compliant and includes Euresys Memento event logging for efficient application software development. A second CXP-6 module can easily be added to support four 1xCXP-6 cameras or two 2xCXP-6 cameras.

“The ADLVIS-1660 brings the benefits of high-performance CXP-6 to many rugged use scenarios previously neglected, including MIL-STD applications.  Its ability to provide power and data at CXP-6 speeds up to 40 meters and CXP-3 up to 100 meters is truly ground-breaking for these environments,” Martin Kristof, Managing Director of ADL Embedded Solutions GmbH.
