MIM (mobile instant messaging) applications are becoming an increasingly preferred communication channel among people. Actually, 2015 was the turning point where messaging apps users suppressed social network users. Right now over 2.5 billion people have at least one messaging app installed, estimations say within a few years that that will reach 3.6 billion people- about half of the humanity.

Naturally, such an important social phenomenon has a great impact on our lives, ranging from tech to communication, from commerce to education and from culture to economy. The challenge begins when businesses need to communicate constantly with users on these platforms, trying to make it as scalable and automated as possible.

Today there are two options for business to deal with this issue: first, they can have a dedicated team available 24/7 providing human response. The second option is to try and automate it using bots- AI based programs which simulates a conversation with a human user. A chat bot can be smart and efficient on. The one hand but will take time and money to develop, which is a problem for non-technological companies and organizations. This is where we come in.

About The product

IAGO is a platform for businesses to easily create and deploy chat bots without writing a single line of code. The bot enables businesses to communicate automatically with users on chat apps (such as Facebook messenger) at large scale. These way business owners can use a leading communication channel such as chat apps to connect with their clients.

For example, in the accommodation industry that is our leading category, IAGO enables hotels to provide its guests with immediate response to questions check in and order room service using natural language directly from Facebook messenger.

The Technology

We have built a unique system based on AI and NLP (natural language processing) technologies. We use machine learning in order to improve the system with every interaction with human. In addition, we make custom adjustments for every different category and industry we are working with to make sure implementation is easy as possible.

The end result is being deployed on popular messaging platforms such as Facebook messenger, so the end user doesn’t need to install or download ant additional app.

Operating costs

We work in a BaaS (bot-as-a-service) so the actual cost is relatively low compared to a bot which needs to be characterized, developed and deployed from scratch. In addition, we have pricing options that are as simple as three different tiers. Paid monthly or a one-time payment for the whole year so every business can find a suitable solution.

The market volume

The chat bot ecosystem is growing rapidly, I addition to the number of messaging app users (nearly 3 billion) it is a very big market. We believe that every business will use bots in the future one way or another, as almost every business today has a website or a Facebook page. We work with several clients in Israel and other countries, and recently launched the first publisher bot in Israel with Walla! Portal.
