XP Power opens European Configuration Centre to offer next day samples across Europe

XP Power announced the opening of its European Configuration Centre located near Reading, UK. Adding to and complementing the existing configuration facilities in North America and Asia, the new TUV and UL approved European Configuration Centre offers customers quick access to a broad range of modular configured AC/DC power supply products. Configurable products comprise the fleXPower, MP and LP series with output power options ranging from 250 to 2,500 Watts and with 1 to 20 output voltage combinations. Starting from January 2016 XP Power will be able to deliver next day samples of any configured product with pre-production quantities available within one to two weeks.

Stephen Dodson, Engineering Manager, XP Power comments, “The opening of the European Configuration Centre is part of our on-going investment within Europe with the aim of offering local configuration services to our European customers. All the chassis and module components used in our configurable power supplies are kept in stock allowing us to provide much shorter lead times so that our customers can achieve a faster time to market. The investment in technical facilities such as new ATE will also benefit our Engineered Solutions Group in providing bespoke power solutions.”

The fleXPower, MP and LP products are available with IT and medical safety approvals and are constructed using a chassis and output module format. For example, the fleXPower series is available with a variety of universal AC input chassis units accommodating output power values from 400 to 2500 Watt. A range of single and dual output modules offer all the popular nominal output voltages in a variety of output power configurations.
