Mouser-Sponsored Rebellion Racing Team Wins FIA World Endurance Racing LMP1 Privateer World Cup

November 26, 2015 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. congratulates Rebellion Racing on its spectacular victory at the weekend in this season’s FIA World Endurance Racing Championship. The Rebellion Racing teams had a great ending to the 2015 season’s racing at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, when its R-One #13 car powered by AER P60 V6 GDI twin-turbocharged engines came through as overall winner of the Six Hours of Bahrain LMP1 Privateer class after a fiercely-contested race. The win on Saturday also means that Rebellion Racing achieved both first and second places in the FIA World Endurance Racing LMP1 Privateer World Cup.

Overall first place for Rebellion Racing’s victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship was

won by the team in the #12 car, Nick Prost of France, Mathias Beche of Switzerland and Nick Heidfeld with a total of 134 points at the end of an eight-month long season involving eight races in eight countries (UK, Belgium, France, USA, Brazil, Japan, China and Bahrain). Teammates Alexandre Imperatori of Switzerland, Dominik Kraihamer of Austria and Daniel Abt of Germany in the Rebellion Racing #13 car came in second overall with 108 points, ahead of Team Bykolles of Austria on 104 points.

The results are not only stunning endorsements of the skill of the drivers, but also demonstrate the strength of Rebellion Racing’s expertise in one of the most technologically advanced and challenging team sports in the world, designed to test the technology, efficiency and reliability of the cars and the strategy and efficiency of their support team to their limits.
