Bel Expands DNG40 2nd Generation DC-DC Converter Series with New Output Voltages

Bel Fuse Inc announced the expansion of its high-efficiency DNG40 2nd Generation DC-DC Converter Series with the release of new output voltage variants: 350DNG40-24-8, 350DNG40-48-8, 700DNG40-12-8, and 700DNG40-48-8. These additions build on the success of the previously launched 350DNG40-12-8 and 700DNG40-24-8, offering greater flexibility for power system designers working in demanding industrial and transportation environments.

Engineered for compactness and performance, the DNG40 Series delivers up to 60% weight reduction compared to the legacy DNC40 Series, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for coolant fittings and anti-vibration bushings. With support for UDS, CAN.FD, and cybersecurity protocols, and the ability to parallel up to 8 units, these converters are ideal for rugged applications including underground mining, construction, and marine systems.

Key features of the DNG40 Series include:
  • Support for UDS, CAN.FD, and cybersecurity protocols
  • Ability to parallel up to eight units for higher power requirements
  • Certification to CE, UKCA, and ECE R10.6 standards
  • Suitability for rugged applications such as underground mining, construction, and marine systems

The new part numbers will be exclusively stocked at Digi-Key and Mouser with a standard lead time of 12 weeks. While OEM focused, we provide targeted support for strategic verticals such as EV/eMobility, and harsh environment deployments.

Summary
  • Product series: 350DNG40-24-8350DNG40-48-8700DNG40-12-8700DNG40-48-8
  • Applications: Underground Mining, Construction, Marine, EV/eMobility, Industrial Automation
