Ray Security Exits Stealth With $11M to Launch First AI-Powered Predictive Data Security Platform, Cutting Enterprise Data Risk by 90%

Platform secures all enterprise data, anticipating which information will be accessed and applying safeguards that adapt security dynamically

Ray Security, the world’s first predictive data security platform, today announced its emergence from stealth with an $11 million seed funding round co-led by Venture Guides and Ibex Investors. The company’s platform protects all enterprise data by uniquely monitoring usage, learning which data is required and predicting which data will be accessed in the near future. The platform applies the right level of protection before risks emerge and delivers automated detection and response in real time.

According to Gartner, only 14% of security and risk management leaders effectively secure organizational data assets while also enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the use of the data. Traditional data security tools treat all enterprise data the same way, generating excessive alerts, consuming resources and leaving organizations exposed for an extended period of time, despite significant security spending.

“Enterprises today are managing massive amounts of data, while facing increasingly sophisticated threats,” said Ariel Zamir, CEO and co-founder of Ray Security. “In dynamic environments, static defenses fall short. Our platform learns from access patterns and adapts protection in real time, delivering adaptive protection that reduces the attack surface automatically and at scale.”

Ray Security continuously analyzes how data is accessed across users, systems, AI agents and environments. The platform accurately predicts the data needed by the business, enabling proactive and adaptive controls that adjust in real time to the business context. This results in dramatic risk reduction, lower costs and smarter security operations, with threats automatically blocked as they emerge.

“We required a solution that could seamlessly integrate robust data security with intelligent data management capabilities. Ray Security delivered on both fronts,” said Erik Hart, Chief Information Security Officer at Cushman & Wakefield. “They quickly understood our challenges and engineered an effective solution for data movement, significantly reducing our storage costs. The integration process was swift, their team’s support was and continues to be exceptional.”

The funding will be used to accelerate product development and go-to-market expansion in the United States. Ray Security has already demonstrated significant impact with dozens of customers, including Fortune 500 enterprises in highly regulated industries, such as finance, healthcare and technology sectors.

“Every enterprise struggles to keep pace with the scale and sensitivity of its data. Ray Security accelerates time to value for customers by predicting what matters next and protecting it in advance,” said Ben Holzman, Partner at Venture Guides. “This proactive approach transforms data security from reactive defense to intelligent prevention. Customers such as Cushman & Wakefield give us the conviction that Ray defines the next category of enterprise data protection.”

“Ray Security is pioneering an entirely new category of data protection,” said Adi Dangot Zukovsky, Partner at Ibex Investors. “Its predictive model leverages new technological advancements to introduce a radical shift in how data security is approached, one that, at Ibex Investors, we believe will become essential for modern enterprises. The Ray Security team is uniquely positioned to tackle this challenge, bringing decades of experience at the forefront of the data security domain’s evolution.”

Protected by more than 10 pending patents, Ray Security’s technology integrates with all data repositories, including cloud platforms, on-premises systems, databases and directory services, providing comprehensive coverage across hybrid environments.

Founded in 2024 by Israeli cybersecurity veterans Ariel Zamir, CEO, Eric Wolf, CBO, and Dekel Levkovich, CTO, Ray Security’s team has decades of combined experience building enterprise security solutions at scale, at companies such as NetApp, Check Point, Guardicore and Axonius. They bring together deep expertise in cybersecurity, data systems and artificial intelligence. The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv with operations across the U.S. and Europe.
