Arrow Electronics and NX Technologies Collaborate to Advance Electrification in Transportation Segments

Arrow Electronics and Spanish manufacturer NX Technologies entered a collaboration that has accelerated the development of NX’s automotive-grade inverter portfolio.

This achievement demonstrates the importance of sourcing cutting-edge components and leveraging engineering expertise to drive advancements in electrification for transportation applications.

Arrow began supporting NX Technologies in 2021, providing access to advanced component solutions critical to NX’s R&D and product development efforts. This collaboration enabled NX to industrialize its inverter portfolio in less than three years, achieving superior performance and specifications. Arrow’s role extended beyond component supply, offering engineering expertise that ensured NX’s products met the rigorous demands of automotive-grade standards.

NX Technologies, founded in 2020 and based in San Sebastian specializes in key electric powertrain components, including inverters and battery management systems (BMS). Focusing on enabling electrification across diverse mobility segments – on-road, off-road, marine, and defense –  the company has invested over €5 million in R&D. The company offers a full range of inverters for 400V, 800V and 1000V from 30kW up to 350kW of power. NX inverters stand out for their superior power density (more than 60kW/kg) and complying with highest industry standards such as ISO26262.
