Axivion partners with Vector for Distribution of Static Code Analysis Tools

Stuttgart/Germany, November 18, 2020 – Axivion, the provider for innovative software solutions for static code analysis and for protection from technical debt, has partnered with Vector, a leading provider of software tools and components for the development of electronic systems. The partnership includes a distribution agreement of Axivion Suite, the successful tool suite for static code analysis and architecture verification, in combination with the VectorCAST test automation platform, initially focusing on the US and Chinese markets.

The demand for a complete solution for both static and dynamic code analysis has been growing among Axivion’s and Vector’s customers in software development and testing. As a result, Axivion and Vector have optimized the integration of the Axivion Suite and VectorCAST, benefiting developers by combining the successful tools in a comprehensive, coordinated test solution.

The VectorCAST product family automates testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle. In addition to automated test execution for unit, integration and system testing, VectorCAST also supports code coverage analysis and test project management.

The Axivion Suite is an advanced tool suite for automated static code analysis and architecture analysis that significantly improves code quality. It localizes style violations, architecture violations, metric outliers, cyclic dependencies as well as unreachable and cloned code. The user-friendly analysis and reporting functions are particularly effective for applications in the context of safety and security.
