Based on Ericsson’s RAN and services portfolios, Ericsson will evolve Azercell’s nationwide mobile network to be 5G-ready. Azercell has the largest mobile market share in Azerbaijan, with about 4.5 million subscribers.
Ericsson will also supply the latest products from Ericsson Radio System and will provide Network Optimization and Predictive Analytics subscription services as part of an initial two-year subscription.
The products and services will help e Azercell to achieve and maintain superior network performance; analyze and prevent network issues; upgrade end-user experiences; and improve management of total cost of ownership.
