Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing has signed an agreement with Samsung that grants preferential RF access and support to current and upcoming Samsung devices

Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing is renowned for continually integrating the latest commercial phones into their solutions to meet market and customer requirements. To continue to ensure QoS and QoE measurements from a real end-user perspective also in the future, Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing has signed an agreement with Samsung that grants preferential RF access to current and upcoming Samsung phones.

Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing, powered by SwissQual, and Samsung have signed an agreement effective immediately that allows access to the RF trace information on Samsung’s flagship mobile devices. This enables Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing to continue to offer commercially available firmware in the future when integrating the latest commercial phones into their benchmarking, optimization and monitoring solutions.

Thanks to the agreement, all products from Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing will be able to support all the latest Samsung devices, enabling customers to continue to receive measurement results that reflect the real end-user behavior and perception. The agreement also allows Rohde & Schwarz mobile network testing to access Samsung devices with a very short time to market, thereby meeting market and customer needs.
