Customer-oriented Service and acquisitions boost Würth Elektronik eiSos

For the first time in the company’s history, Würth Elektronik eiSos has surpassed the 500 million euro sales mark. The global growth of the supplier of electronic and electromechanical components continued in 2016, with the company strategically investing in acquisitions in high-growth technology and application areas. The company attributes the reasons for its success to its consistent focus on quality and service.

“Even though the year hasn’t quite come to an end, we’re already able to say that 2016 has been a year of successes achieved and milestones passed: the acquisitions of AMBER wireless and Büchele, the new logistics centre, and now the record sales figure of over 500 million euros. We’re extremely gratified with this success and are fully aware that it’s primarily due to the commitment of our employees throughout the world. Our ability to offer high-quality products and extraordinary service is made possible solely thanks to the engagement of our qualified and committed team,“ says Oliver Konz, CEO of Würth Elektronik eiSos. Thomas Schrott, also CEO, adds: “Ever since our foundation, we’ve been operating in fiercely competitive markets. Our strength is our philosophy of close cooperation with our customers on a partnership basis. As a result of this approach, our customers are able to communicate closely with our experts at our application centres to achieve better solutions more swiftly.“

The dedication to a customer-oriented service at Würth Elektronik eiSos with its over 6,100 employees counts as unique in the industry: the supplier gives its customers the guarantee that the entire product portfolio is available directly off the shelf, even for small order volumes, and offers application developers free-of-charge sample services and application support.
