Future Electronics Wins Two Prestigious Awards from NXP

Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components founded in 1968 by Robert Miller, was recently presented with two prestigious awards from NXP.

At the NXP Billionaires Club ceremony in Lisbon, Future Electronics was given the NXP Billionaires Club Award for shipping over 1 billion units of GA Discrete Semiconductors in all 3 regions in 2015. Future Electronics was the only distributor to achieve this status in all 3 regions, thus reaffirming the company’s position as NXP’s distinguished Global Partner.  Future Electronics was also presented with a Global Rising Star Award, in recognition of success and growth in 2015.

Frans Scheper, EVP and GM of BU Standard products at NXP and designated CEO of Nexperia, stated, “I am happy to see that Future has achieved NXP BU Standard Products Billionaires award for all three regions. This is a great achievement. As BU Standard Products is establishing itself as an independent company, branded Nexperia, in the first quarter of next year we rely on the further acceleration of revenue growth with Future Electronics. Both companies are ideally positioned to expand the demand creation efforts further and continue delighting customers around the world with the best Logic, PowerMos and Small Signal Discretes products any semiconductor supplier can offer.”

In accepting the award, Anthony Alberga, Corporate Vice President for Future Electronics said, “We are incredibly proud to be receiving this award from NXP. The year on year growth we continue to achieve in all regions is a true testament to our long standing partnership. We remain focused and fully aligned on exceeding our mutual sales plans globally.
