Farnell element14 today announces that Daniel Dahan has been promoted to lead Sales in the Benelux region. He will now be responsible for driving growth in the region, alongside his existing responsibilities as Regional Sales Director role for France, Italy and Spain.
This announcement precedes the imminent retirement of Leif Wartacz, Regional Sales Director for the Nordics and Benelux. Farnell element14 has taken the strategic decision of splitting the role of managing the Benelux and Nordic regions in two, in order to support the business in developing key growth opportunities in each area. Daniel will be responsible for ensuring the business meets its objectives in Benelux, operating out of the Farnell element14 offices in Utrecht, Holland.
“This is a well deserved promotion for Daniel who has proven his ability, skill and experience in his previous role, and I am confident that he’ll be a strong leader for the Benelux team,” said Peter Birks, Business President Marketing and Sales, Europe. “I’d also like to extend my gratitude to Leif for his contribution to the business and for his on-going guidance and support throughout the transition period.”
The business continues to actively recruit for a candidate to fill the Head of Sales, Nordics position, with Leif’s support.
