ADL Embedded Solutions Inc. Announces Long-Life ADLPS35ISO-150 Isolated, Small Form Factor (2”x4”) ATX PSU

ADL Embedded Solutions Inc., a leading provider of high-performance embedded solutions, has announced today its 150W ADLPS35ISO-150 power supply board. It’s designed to meet the needs of high-powered Intel® Core™ i5/i7 CPUs in space-constrained embedded systems by providing robust ATX voltages in a small 2” x 4” form factor designed for rugged, extended temperature use. The ADLPS35ISO-150 provides up to 500V of galvanic isolation from dirty power and unwanted transients and is tailored to work in conjunction with ADL Embedded Solutions’ advanced high performance SBC’s with more than enough headroom for inrush startup currents, and quiescent operation with multiple peripheral cards.

The ADLPS35ISO-150 features an MTBF > 500,000 hrs, and can be optionally ruggedized for MIL-STD 810 and rugged industrial applications. In addition to 500V of galvanic isolation, input and output voltages are protected against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and reverse voltage.  The ADLPS35ISO-150 has an input voltage range of 20V to 30V and output voltages of: 5V/20A, S5V/5A, 3.3V/10A and 12V/8A. It is EMC compliant to EN61000-6-2 and EN61000-6-4 for industrial environments.  External options include a MILCOTS filter option for MIL-STD 704/1275/461 military applications and a UPS module wth battery pack options up to 100 sec.

“The ADLPS35ISO-150 is optimized for long-life, rugged, embedded applications in a variety of industrial and military power environments. A judicious choice of components and circuit architecture has resulted in an long-life MTBF >500,000 and its compact size makes it a perfect choice for rugged SFF embedded systems anywhere,” according to Martin Kristof, Managing Director of ADL Embedded Solutions GmbH.
