Meet the LED View and Other New Covers for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Smartphone accessories have become an indispensable part of the mobile experience. For smartphone cases in particular, the design is as important as performance because people want to avoid compromising their device’s great looks and functionality. As a result, people look for smartphone cases that can better express their individual style while also protecting the device—which is why Samsung has long pioneered the development of specialized smartphone covers, with a wide range of looks and features.

From the S View Cover in 2013 and LED Flip Wallet in 2014, to the Clear View Cover in 2015, Samsung has continued to explore new ways to protect and improve its smartphone experience

With the release of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, once again Samsung has produced a unique range of covers, offering more useful features than ever.

LED View Cover Innovation

A case that helps you keep informed is a key concept behind the new LED View Cover for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Available in three colors—black, silver and gold—the LED View Cover at first looks like any other shell-style cover.

But hidden in the cover is an LED display that connects with the smartphone to provide an array of useful functions and notifications, such as incoming calls, alarms, text messages, the time, music, volume and charging status. Users can get all the key information they need without taking the phone out of standby mode, or even opening the cover.

Maximizing convenience is another key feature of the LED View Cover. The cover accepts several touch commands, letting users receive or reject calls, turn off alarms or timers, and perform other operations, all directly from the case.

Notification icons can also be customized. Users can choose from a variety of icons designed to let users know who is calling in the phone’s accessories setting menu.

Lastly, the LED View Cover uses NFC technology, which means no charging is needed. Users just slot their phones into the cradle, and the case is instantly ready for action.

Covering All Your Needs

In addition to its innovative new LED View Cover, Samsung is offering a range of other attractive and practical designs. These include the Leather Cover, which is a luxuriant case that gives users extra protection from external shocks, while also providing an incredibly comfortable grip. The Keyboard Cover slips over the phone to provide users with a practical keyboard to type on. The Lens Cover is a special addition for photography buffs, providing two exchangeable lens options—telephoto and wide angle.

Wide Varieties of Basic Essentials

In addition, other covers include the Clear View Cover, which has a translucent shell that lets users see and operate the phone’s screen. The S View Cover has a clear window for responding to calls, playing music and taking photos. The Flip Wallet is classy and functional, with a convenient pocket to house a user’s most important card. And Clear Cover is a sleek case that extends a layer of protect to the device.
