Conrad Business Supplies to stock enhanced range of C-Control microcontrollers for hardware and software solutions

New Webserver connectivity and graphic programming of C-Control PRO AVR-32-Bit microcontroller, two cost-efficient controller boards with open-source Arduino™ platform and WiFi based IoT controller board

Conrad Business Supplies has begun stocking a new and updated range of C-Control microcontrollers designed in-house by the Conrad Technology Centrum (CTC). The new solutions offer improved user interfaces and greater customisation options.

The flagship product for the C-Control PRO family, is the C-Control AVR32-Bit MCU. In addition to the updated and improved web server functionalities, the product now comes with an easy-to-use programming software called ‘Grape’ which allows simple implementation of ideas using a graphical flowchart. During graphical programming, graphic symbols are displayed together with the relevant ‘C’-Code. This permits accurate control over system communication and makes it an ideal tool for fast familiarisation with the higher programming language ‘C’.

Also new to the C-Control PRO offering is the Arduino™ compatible UNO Design allowing the easy integration of pin-compatible Arduino™ expansion shields. In addition, the controller board features three connector slots for Grove sensor and extension modules. Conrad offers a large variety of over 30 competitively priced modules including a C-Control Library for easy integration.

To provide even greater flexibility, Conrad has also introduced two additional controller boards with Arduino ™ UNO Design: the C-Control PRO Duino with free and intuitive C-Control PRO IDE (Integrated Development environment) and the C-Control PRO Duino OPEN, utilising the Open Source programming environment for Arduino™.

Another highlight is the Arduino™ compatible C-Control OPEN – a controller board with Wi-Fi connectivity. This product is ideal for applications within the Internet of Things (IoT). Using simple AT commands, it is possible to interact with a variety of different server solutions and to utilise this device as an access point, to form a connection in variety of network set-ups.
