Intel Security And DLT Solutions Announce Strategic Alliance

SANTA CLARA, Calif. and RESTON, Va., March 8, 2016—Intel Security, a global security solutions leader, and DLT Solutions (DLT), a leading public sector technology company, today announced a strategic alliance focused on helping agencies address ever-increasing cybersecurity challenges.

“We’re excited to begin this relationship with DLT so that even more federal agencies will benefit from Intel Security’s McAfee advanced solutions which are designed to share threat information across an enterprise and address the entire threat defense lifecycle: protecting, detecting and correcting against a wide array of threats,” said Ken Kartsen, vice president of Federal Sales, Intel Security. “DLT is highly respected in the public sector technology market, and we are similarly respected in the security space. The synergies between our companies will be tremendous for both existing and new government customers.”

As part of the new program, Intel Security and DLT will develop a new cyber lab housed within the DLT Innovation Center which will serve as a physical and virtual showcase for security innovation.

“The federal government is projecting to spend $19B in the coming year to address cybersecurity requirements,” said Alan Marc Smith, president and CEO of DLT. “That’s a 35 percent increase year over year. At the same time, industry is rapidly innovating and bringing to market new, highly sophisticated cyber solutions. At DLT, we leverage our in-depth customer relationships and knowledge of mission requirements to evaluate emerging technologies from across the IT landscape – from both well-established technology companies and the start-up community. This allows us to maintain within our DLT portfolio the solutions that best meet our customer needs. The Intel Security-DLT partnership provides customers with a security-connected architecture supporting the entire threat lifecycle.”
