Knowles (Syfer) Products Now Available Globally through Digi-Key

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minnesota, USA – Global electronic components distributor Digi-Key Electronics, the industry leader in electronic component selection, availability and delivery, today announced a distribution agreement with Knowles (Syfer) (formerly Syfer Technology Ltd.). The Knowles Capacitors (Syfer) brand is considered to be a premier global source for application-specific multilayer ceramic capacitors and EMI suppression filters. The Knowles (Syfer) selection of products is currently available for purchase worldwide from digikey.com.

Knowles has many unique products and technologies including StackiCap, which offers high CV in a compact package, as well as FlexiCap, a world first in MLCC flexible terminations to reduce mechanical cracking.

The StackiCap range of capacitors is suitable for many applications such as switch mode power supplies, filtering, tank and snubber circuits, DC-DC converters, DC blocking, voltage multipliers, etc., and will provide huge benefits in applications where size and weight are critical. Applications for MLCC products are widespread in the telecommunications, power conversion, automotive, and aerospace industries and are supported by approvals including CECC, UL, and TUV, with qualification also to AEC-Q200 for automotive applications.
