Ween is a CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree

Ween announced that it has been named a CES 2016 Innovation Award Honoree for its Life Responsive thermostat. Ween is the world’s first smart-home solution to be based on the company’s leading-edge patented technology that reacts in real-time to your life. It truly frees the user from having to worry about the mechanics.

The first application that Ween has developed based on its proprietary technology is the Life Responsive smart thermostat. Paired with your smartphone, it raises or lowers the temperature in your home instantaneously depending on your comings and goings. It models your home’s energy profile – how fast the house cools itself down and how fast it heats up – based on outside weather conditions, current and forecasted, all by itself.

Other learning thermostats only focus on your weekly schedule, ignoring many of your absences. Ween’s patented algorithm takes into account 100% of your absences automatically – even those that are unplanned. Every time you step outside the door, you save energy and money. Ween boasts twice the savings compared with a learning thermostat.

You can find Ween at CES 2016, which runs from January 6-9, 2016, in Las Vegas.
