In Embedded World 2017 Arrow announced several new community boards to the market that will be presented in the Embedded World 2018 as mature and production ready with several new demos and software implementations

Meerkat – 96boards CE Version based on NXP I.MX7 to support the need for Advanced Human Machine Interfaces ( based on CortexAx ) combined with the real time capabilities ( based on CortexMx ) needed by modern Industrial applications as well as surging demand for battery operated devices driven by the Internet of things.

In Embedded World 2018 we will demonstrate Meerkat with advance demos and Cloud Connection .

Chameleon 96 – 96boards CE Verstion features the Intel® Cyclone V SoC FPGA, a dual-core ARM® Cortex™-A9 at up to 800MHz clock speed per core, capable of 32-bit operation. It meets all the 96Bboards specification (excluding MIPI SDI Interface) and most optional specifications. The Chameleon96 will support Linux and offers advance processing power, Bluetooth, WLAN, and USB, all combined into this “credit-card” size board. It is designed to support “feature-rich” functionality, including multimedia.

In Embedded World 2018 we will demonstrate Chameleon96 connected to enhance Camera Platform to show special video capabilities with cooperation of Basler Camera Solutions .

Oxalis – 96boards CE Extended Version based on NXP’s Layerscape LS1012A with SoM ( System On Module ) capabilities and Evaluation Plattform to support small Gateway applications features SATA , Multiple Ethernets , USB and more communications .

In the coming Embedded World 2018 Arrow will announced new community boards that can support the growing market for End Nodes Application , Smart Nodes and Smart Gateway for many and different IoT ( Internet of Things ) applications .

ARIS-EDGE-S3 – With a 3 years success of the ARIS Program started with the ARIS Board in 2016 . The ARIS board ( ARIS = Arrow Reloc IoT Synergy ) is based on Renesas Synergy Platform that offers developers the benefit of qualified hardware and software with the  S7 MCU running @ 240MHz ARM Cortex-M4 core and added also has a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope for position and motion sensing. Communication with other devices and the Cloud is enabled via an Ethernet 10/100 port, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.1/4.2) and Wi-Fi b/g/n support. NFC tag functionality is also included along with a crypto bootloader and support for over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates. In Embedded World 2017 we have announce the ARISEDGE to accelerates IoT endpoint which lets designers accelerate development of low-power Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as smart sensors, wearables, small appliances and battery-powered health care devices or other types of endpoints.

ARIS EDGE provides hardware and essential software components that enable teams to get prototypes running quickly and focus attention on application development. Optimised for power-constrained IoT-edge devices, it features a Renesas Synergy S124 32MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller.

There is a rich set of integrated MEMS sensors from Bosch Sensortec, including the 9-axis Absolute Orientation sensor BNO055 and the environmental sensor BME280. The BNO055 is a System-in Package (SiP) solution and the first product in the family of Application Specific Sensor Nodes (ASSN), which integrates a Bosch MEMS accelerometer, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor and a 32-bit microcontroller running the Bosch Sensortec’s BSX3.0 FusionLib software. The sensor is suited for applications such as robotics, augmented and virtual reality, drones, gaming, as well as other industrial applications. The BME280 is developed specifically for loT applications where size and low-power consumption are key design constraints. It integrates three sensors into one single package and enables the measurement of ambient temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure.

Support for wireless communication is also tailored to IoT-edge devices, comprising a multi-protocol radio module with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.1/4.2), Thread, and ZigBee stacks all built-in to provide flexible choices for connecting with other devices and the Cloud. The Thread stack allows ARIS EDGE to be used as a platform for connected domestic IoT devices, benefiting from properties of Thread that help ensure reliable and secure communication, with high energy efficiency and easy interoperability.

And now , the ARIS EDGE-S3 is an upgrade of the ARISEdge based on the newest Microcontroller from Renesas  The S3A3 MCU with enhance feature set and support for small form factor display with GUI enablement using the same Sensors and Wireless capabilities from the previous ARISEdge . This board have been develop with cooperation of Arrow and Reloc based on Italy .

Tiger Board – Another board from the ASME Family – Arrow SmartEveryThing Community Boards based on the KW41Z from NXP . The KW41Z is an ultra low-power, highly-integrated single-chip device that enables Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) v4.2 and IEEE® 802.15.4 RF connectivity for portable, extremely low-power embedded systems. Applications include portable health care devices, wearable sports and fitness devices, AV remote controls, computer keyboards and mice, gaming controllers, access control security systems, smart energy and home area networks.

The Tiger board supports the Arduino connection and have built-in WiFi connection so it can support a Smart End Node application with WiFi to Thread or BLE or can be a small Gateway as well . This board have been develop with cooperation of Arrow and IOTeam based in Italy .

CYC1000 – This board is a low cost board based on Intel PSG ( former Altera ) based on the latest FPGA announcement of Cyclone 10LP Intel Cyclone 10 LP FPGAs are optimized for low static power, low-cost applications, such as I/O expansion, sensor fusion, motor/motion control, chip-to-chip bridging, and control.  . The CYC1000 is small and powerful FPGA module integrating an Intel Cyclone 10 LP FPGA, 8 MByte SDRAM, 8 MByte Flash and a LIS3DH 3-axis sensor . This board have been develop with cooperation of Arrow and Trenz Electronics in Germany .

ANT96 – This special board is based on the 96boards CE Extend form factor with the new High End MPU family from Renesas – RZ-G1E . High processing performance with 1.0 GHz dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A7 CPUs, with 3D graphics and video codec engine. RZ/G1E embedded processors are equipped with a 3D graphics engine (PowerVR SGX540 at 260 MHz) and support full high-definition video encoding and decoding, making them ideal for human-machine interface (HMI) applications. This board is develop in cooperation with Mission Embedded company in Austria .

HANI Board – The HANI board means HMI , Arrow , NXP , IoT Board is unique platform that based on many NXP solutions . The Board based on NXP LPC54618 high performance MCU running at 180Mhz with 512KFlash and 200Kram  Focus on HMI and connectivity , Support for multiple-sizes display (3.5’’ with 320×240 resolution , 4.3’’– 480×272 resolution , 5’’ – 800×400 resolution , 7’’- 800×400 resolution)  with Wireless connectivity: RigadoR41Z Module, based on the NXP KinetisKW41Z SoC and supporting Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 and IEEE 802.15.4 (Thread, ZigBee…) connectivity, SilexSX-ULPGN 802.11b/g/n module, based on the Qualcomm QCA4010 System-on-Chip (SoC) with 16-Mbit SPI Flash, NFC reader based on NXP CLRC663 & Wired connectivity: 2x CAN interfaces, Ethernet 10/100, USB host / device plus On-board debugger . The sensors are FXLS8471Q / FXLN8361Q : high performance industrial 3 axis accelerometer , FXAS21002CQ : high performance 3 axis Gyro , FXPQ3115BV : bio compatible medical pressure sensor , NXP PCT2075GV : temperature sensor & AMS TSL25711FN : light sensor . The HANI board is develop with cooperation of Reloc from Italy .
